CL Design in VoyageLA

As part of VoyageLA's Inspiring Stories collection representing the West LA region, Carrie Livingston was chosen to share her success story among interviews with other inspiring professionals, entrepreneurs, and independent businesses.

From the article:

Carrie Livingston Design is known for her high-end contemporary style with comfortable pieces to create a luxe yet livable space. She gives previously stodgy, dull rooms that sported a color palette of flat beiges new life through the use of stark black and white, which create a great base that allows for unique pieces, textures, colors, and objects to create a dynamic story within the home. The result is a space that is both classic and modern. Made-to-order neon fixtures based off handwritten quotes, the careful juxtaposition of polished high-gloss accents with lush materials like silk velvet and leather, and custom lighting and acrylic furniture pieces of her own design can all be seen in her residential and commercial work.

In addition to the design aspects of her business, Livingston also operates a chic and cozy storefront nestled in the side streets directly across from the Century City Westfield, where she has carefully curated the selections with the most beautiful and special pieces from her travels. The merchandise is available on her recently launched online shop as well.

The formidable workload of running her own design firm is not easy, and Livingston moved her offices from Beverly Hills to Century City in order to better focus on family. It is a running joke with the mother of two that she has quite the commute, with her home in Century City just walking distance from her nearby office. On weekends, she might stop in to work on projects by the light of a gorgeous three-link pendant light of her own design. Her lovely children Madeline Rose and Graham are frequent visitors to the shop, and often stop by for a quick hello.
